Guys, I'm still a bit hyped about what has just happened here in front of my house: Wheater service said there would be severe thunderstorms. No big deal, we always have them I thought. And while watching TV, I saw the storm coming in, with lightning and stuff. Still no big deal. But things started to be worth when I suddenly saw that the trees outside the window were bending at an angle of 45°! Next thing there is a load bang, and seconds later my dad is coming in and telling me that 3 or 4 trees had been ripped out of the ground and lay across the street. And all of them were within an area of some 20 squaremeters, one of them being a 180ft tall beech. And notably, all damage was within an area of less than 50mē. Looking just a bit down the road everything was fine there. And it all happened within less than 1 minute. I wish I could provide pics of the damage, but I had to realise that the flash on my cam doesn't work at all. I hope I can take some pics tomorrow.
And here I always thought that I would only experience a tornado in the US...
