I went to see the Houston Texans BEAT the New York Giants on Sunday at the new 80,000-seat Reliant Stadium. (BTW, the NY Giants flew to Houston on a chartered UAL 757). That place is gigantic. It looks bigger than the Astrodome! There were a total of 5 aircraft circulating the stadium with trailing banner ads (not all 5 at the same time, though). There must not be anymore 'restricted airspace' over sporting events. Anyone know how much it costs an advertiser to do this? Are those pilots building up time?
Also, I had a good view of the approach path to Hobby. Saw countless Southwest 737s. Many Canyon Blue ones.
