Actually the MX is called MAX - but you can call him Priscilla Queen of the MX5's if you like.
I will be down CBR way next month for some skiing hijinks. I love taking Max down to the snow (the mx) because it's so ostentatious to drive a convertible (ski rack is on the boot) to the snow. Must catch up with a beer!
It's quite nice to drive with the roof down and your ski gear on in sub zero temps - well at least for the small trek from Jindabyne to Perisher.

Went up to thredbo, wasn't that much fun. Will try Corin Dam or Charlottes Pass next time I think ...
and people who drive with the lid down in the cold are akin to people who put the Microsoft Certified Professional logo below their signature block.

It's okies to do it to our ski fields as it doesn't get that cold. I wouldn't do it at some of the euro ones - although I got the idea when skiing with my cousins in Valdezer (sp?).
I have yet had the need to wear thermals in the aussie ski fields but froze my but off in Europe with thermals.
Although I do remember a freezing 30 minutes in a blinding blizzard at Perisher when they shut off the Quad for safety reasons.

I've been here for a while JCS, i'm just not as active here as I was on the other site .. the format of the forums is a little different .. I generally just cruise the pictures.
Of course, my main claim to fame here is bringing one of the more popular photographers on board
