My God, you're drinking Chinese beer?

oh sweet, didn't know you moved to HK, what brought you there? I've only ever had one chineese beer, this is it, and it is absolutely fantastic, I would highly reccomend it. Had it when I was first in Shanghai.

Actually I'm only here for work (and a bit of travel ) for the summer. I'm going back to Canada for school. My returning flight is in my signature.

If you're ever in Hong Kong, try the locally brewed San Miguel

awesome, how do you like it so far? Both my brother and my father have been to HK and absolutely loved it. I have also heard that San Miguel is pretty good, will have to give it a try sometime. But I highly reccomend Tsingtao, good stuff. Beats the hell out of any north american beer I've tried. I guess the brewery was started a looong time ago by some germans, and they know how to make beer .

Well it's not my first time going back to my homeland, but I always enjoy my stay. I think my boss might take me to the airport hangar at Chek Lap Kok next week and I look forward to that

I guess Tsingtao would be the only thing "Made in China" that isn't associated with "cheap"

I'm not one of "those" people that is anti China. I've been there and loved it. And in Shanghai at least, Tsingtao was really really cheap, but still tastes really great. What do you do if you dont mind me asking? I assume its something aviation related if it gets you out to the hangar.

Summer trainee at HAECO (Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company)
I'm currently based in their inland facility which does the technical training as well as avionics and other overhaul. Their other facility is located at the airport, which I will visit, and it does the actual maintenance and overhaul of the aircraft

They certainly do MX for more than just Cathay Pacific aircraft. Other customers known to me include Qantas, Dragonair, Air Canada. They have training manuals for almost all types of commercial airliners save for props
