basketball just isn't my thing, bores the hell out of me. Hockey is my sport, you just can't beat it in terms of quickess, excitement, and just being fun to watch (and more fun to play). Too bad the NHL is filled with a bunch of selfish pieces of crap.

Hockeys fun, but I think it all depends where you live. When Im in the midwest where you live, I never see anyone but myself on basketball courts. All the kids just like hockey. They can only play basketball outside less than half the year anyway, so theres little intrest. But here in CA, most people love basketball(just a few shy of 100 tried out for the team at my highschool) but Im sure a lot of the people in the bay area have never even seen a Sharks game on TV...Some people around here didn't even know the NHL season was canceled.

I think this is the funnest part in basketball, its also the closest feeling to flying that i've ever had outside of a plane.
