Political Oxymorons

Puzzing things I thought of on our crappy subway, MARTA, a few days ago: Many things in politics just don't seem to make any sense-whether it's a personal, national, or global thing. Here are two that I realised on the train


Massachusetts, which contains the famously Irish-Catholic city of Boston, is the only U.S. state to allow gay marriage.

While I'm ultra-liberal, I still go by the Focus on the Family website and Ann Coulter's page every week.

And yes I give right to Nicolas Sarkosy, the local homeland security minister who vows to clean up the 4,000 project at La Courneuve, where some recent killings took place.
