having a problem with a new game already......

I just bought the game Axis & Allies earlier today and loaded it onto my comp tonight. I got it started and clicked on single player then campaign then tutorial and I always get a box that says "Axis & Allies Fatal Error" at the top then inside the box it says:

An error has occurred:
Thread MAIN caught unhandled exception – Access Violation (C0000005) trapped at 1B:0

To aid the development team in fixing bugs, please submit the log file (Logs\log-4.log) and minidump file
(Logs\log-4.dmp.)

i click ok and it just closes the game.
can anybody tell what this means and how do i get it not to show up anymore?
