  • Map of US servicemen lost in war.

Hits home hard to see all the places the servicemen were from. I have tremendous respect for all of our military. To the members that never made it home, RIP.

Shame to put so many fine young people in harms way for nothing...

We should be thankful they're not drafting.

I have to post the pic of Dubya in the wrong place at the right time.

We have lost 50 or so Fort Drum soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan since the wars began.

Interesting that you think they are dying for nothing Clovis. The ones that come back alive (for the most part) certainly don't think that they were fighting for "nothing."

          You are the shame

That's all I have to say about that.
THE VOICE OF REASON HAS SPOKEN!
Pop quiz: Which US president said, "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
George W. Bush is not correct. It was Bill Clinton in his 1998 State of the Union speech. HMMMMMMMMM.

People on here really need to start respecting opinions! It's sickening hearing the bitching back and forth between people with different viewpoints!

I don't see why this thread should be locked. The topic has nothing to do with opinion, just a simple graphic of casualties of war. People will think what they think, but thank goodness we are free to form our own opinions about whatever we like. The fallen have fallen, just cause or not.

Three letters? More like three words-

                    WAR ON TERROR

You're as bad as each other. You both have different views and are willing to kill others who disagree. You just go abuot the killing in different ways. To them you guys are terrorists and vice versa. So why is your view more important and the correct one over theirs?

Funny... There are more terrorists in Iraq now than there were under Saddam Hussein. Neither Saddam Hussein nor his brutal regime was fundamentalist Islamic. That sort of activity was suppressed.

You are all wrong - the real problem is Iran. We need to strike them before it is too late

My brother is over there currently fighting this war that my family along with my brother thinks is dumb. I think it is dumb, but I'll respect others opinions.

Bush says that we need to be fighting this war and that he sympathizes with families over there; why aren't his daughters over there? Why aren't any politicians kids over there fighting this war that we need?
