  • "The Office" - Good job Brits

    Another unbelievably funny series. I just bought the DVD set and had a good laugh, a very hard good laugh. It's a shame it's not on anymore...

    HAHAHAHAHA, David Brent, classic, absolutely classic...

      Cameron your dead right The Office is the funniest thing ever for sure along with Little Britain.

      Some yanks don't really get British comedy. As a generalisation British comedy is more intellectual/ sophisticated, with British comedy the punch lines are less obvious, and you have to think for yourself to see them. With American comedy it’s more “he fell off his bike and hit a telegraph pole” styles of comedy.

      Little Britain;

            As awhole, British series are often much more interesting than many a US counterparts. Some of the latters released in the eighties and nineties are real disasters.

              The Office has to be one of the most overhyped, crap British TV comedies in years. I thought it was boring and pathetic.

                no way!

                The comedy style in The Office is mostly subtle, yet that's what makes it funnier than traditional styles of comedy. The script writer's are genious.

                exmanx you must be they type who wets their pants laughing at America's "Funniest" Home Videos" type of shows, the no brainer sort of shit.

                    I even find that the actions of the casts of The Office, their body language is just as funny as the script.

                      Sorry to dissapoint you MM, but that sort of stuff is as inane as the office old son. I prefer Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python and other far better comedies.

                      And theres no need to be insulting because I don't happen to agree with your choice of programme. I thought this place was better than that.
