Sheesh... sounds like a witchhunt I wouldn't be surprised if the two weren't gay- what proof did they have in the first place?!

The proof is the boys had told them they did have gay sex.

I wouldn't call that proof. At least in my opinion it isn't- anyone against it could write that down in the report. And it doesn't even mean that it's true even if they admitted to it- If I was tortured and they wanted me to say something that wasn't necessarily true, I probably would too.

If that is the case, maybe being gay didn't help their case at all, and the lawyer is twisting it to make it seme like because they are gay, they are being hung. But if the actual reason is them raping a boy and knifing it or w/e then that is an entirely different case.

Telegraph new maybe true there fore the harsh punishment, but maybe life imprisonment with the lashings would have been sufficient to disgrace them and rob them of their best years.
