All I've ever caught were sunfish and perch. Tiny things.

Everything I went after something larger (pike, salmon, bass) I never get a thing.

I haven't fished in many years.

I'm a big fisher but I don't have any pics on my computer. I caught a 23 inch catfish just last night in the James River.

I catch a great deal of cods and garfish, but they're nothing big The biggest one I had WAS quite big, but it made the lure snap, so i didn't actually CATCH the thing :/ usually, it takes 5 of the ones I catch to satisfy hunger

I just got a bunch of new blinkers, new lures and even a new rod, so I'm hoping to be able to catch something bigger this year

While I don't have any pictures of my catch, I do fish every once in a while; the biggest catch of mine being a 10 inches unspecified fish (ain't too knowledgeable on types of fish.) It's a small pond anyway, I don't expect to catch anything big anyway.

I've go fishing everytime i go to Minneasota, usually a few times each visit, i MUST have gone 50 times and never caught more then one "keeper". I did catch a big muskie this year but Minneasota has this stupid law where if its UNDER 36 inches long, its illegal to keep it. Damn i spent over 10 minutes trying to get it in too, it put up one hell of a fight!

When I fish for catfish, I usually use bunker (little oily baitfish). The oils and scents are great for attracting the catfish. I also catch stripers, eels, and a gar every once in a while on them, but mainly just big catfish.

well i guess i better say my biggest catch, my uncle, my grandpa, and I wented fishing to lake muskego, first we caught this karp, and it was so fat and heavy i had to jump into the water with a net and scoop it out,(we were fishing off ledge), now the big catch...so this little fish bitesmy hook and i start reeling it in and thne theres this huge splash and this huge nothern pike eats the fish so i get a 2 for 1

My record for catfish is ten 34-inch-plus fish in a day (plus a few 30-inchers too). Not bad eh?

Talk about fishing reminds me of this:

On a tour of Florida, the Pope took a couple of days off his itinerary to visit the coastline on an impromptu sightseeing trip. His 4X4 Popemobile was driving along the beautiful shoreline in an area where Canadian tourists typically inhabit when there was an enormous commotion heard just off the headland. He drove closer to see what it was. Upon approaching the scene, he saw a man in the water wearing a Toronto Maple Leaf hockey jersey, struggling frantically to free himself from the jaws of a 25-foot shark. At that moment, a speedboat containing three men wearing Senators jerseys, roared into view from around the point. Immediately, one of the men took aim and fired a harpoon into the shark's ribs, immobilizing it instantly. The other two reached out and pulled the Toronto fan from the water and then, using long clubs, beat the shark to death. They then bundled the bleeding, semi-conscious man into the boat along with the dead shark and prepared for a hasty retreat when they heard frantic shouting from the shore. It was the Pope summoning them to the beach. After they reached shore, the Pope praised them for the rescue and said, "I give you my blessing for your brave actions. I had heard that there was bitter hatred in your country between the fans of the Senators and the Leafs, but now I have seen with my own eyes this is not true. I can see that your society is a truly enlightened example of true harmony and companionship and could serve as a model on which other countries, like this one, could follow". He blessed them all and drove off in a cloud of dust. As he departed, the harpooner asked the others, "Who was that?" "That," one answered, "was his Holiness the Pope. He is in direct contact with God and has access to all of God's wisdom". "Well," the harpooner replied, "he doesn't know a thing about shark fishing. Is the bait holding up okay, or do we need to get another one?"

Were you "noodling" or fishing for real?

My best is a 16-pound catfish. Forget the length.

Fishing for real. The Red River (by the St. Andrews lock/dam) is the most productive catfish spot on the planet. It's not uncommon to pull up a half dozen or more fish weighing 20 pounds plus, with the occasional 30 pounder. You need a boat though...check out www.captaincatfish.com

I need some practice fishing in 'sconsin. My grandma lived on the Wisconsin River in Merrill (just north of Wausau) and I used to fish there when I was little. Unfortunately she has passed and I haven't fished there for a while. My biggest catch was a 2lb smallmouth.
