    How much does it cost to take the train from NY to NJ vise versa?

    New Jersey is a state. It depends on where you want to go...which city.

    I know that the price for a train from Princeton Junction to Manhattan is approximately $13 or so.

      Sorry, should have specified a city. My buddiy is going to princeton next year and we want to visit him..and go to NY...

      And New York is a state as well, so there...

        You should visit NJ Transit for more info.

        Also, keep in mind that they just raised fares.

        Also keep in mind that some stations in NJ only serve Philadelphia, Atlantic City, or Newark.
