Idiots and the ordinary people forced to rescue them
From Katrina...What the hell was this driver thinking? Kudos to the TV reporter for his courage...he didn't even hesitate to run out there and help the driver.
Fly Raleigh-Durham International, with direct flights on Air Canada, AirTran, American Airlines, American Eagle, America West, Continental Airlines, Continental Express, Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, jetBlue, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Express and US Airways to:
Saw that video multiple times already on CNN. Blitzer was just praising the courage of the reporter. There's no doubting that, but I missed any criticism of the car driver for being that incredibly stupid.
LMAO... the thought that there are millions of people out there running around with equal (or less) intelligence to that guy really makes this world a scary proposition. He's very lucky that water was standing still!
I thought blind people weren't allowed to drive a car. geez was this guy blind or what ?
By the way, what the reporter did was curageuos but did he at one time trying to pull back the car? Does he think with his weight he can *hold* the car still. Its floating dude. Nice job anyway !
Yeah, I saw that right after it happened. What possessed him to go out in the hurricane in the first place & then later, why didn't he start to get out of the car as soon as he realized he was flooded?
You see this all the time, people acting stupid and finding themselves in a mess obvious to this.
If it was'nt for us emergency guys what would this stupid people do?
I also might add, look at his back window! it was already smashed before he drove that car in the overflown river (what i presumed).
smashing back windows its a great way to steal a car, it happens all the time in Sydney. Could he have stolen the car and procced to trash the car and make it a complete write off?

Either that, or mabey he was just your typical redneck.
If there is something stupid that can be done in a car, someone will find a way to do it. It never amazes me, some of the things I have seen....lol.
