Favorite Simpsons Episode?

Hello,

What is your favorite Simpsons episode?

I like the following ones:

1) Mr. Plow epsiode (Homer starts a snow plowing business).
2) Bart's wish for a snow day so he can study for a history exam.


Personally, I think that The older Simpsons were much better as the Simpson family were a bit more intelligent. But now, they are bouncing back but the seasons 2001-2004 brought very poor episodes in which unrealism was too high and Homer was extremely stupid.

That was pretty funny.

I also liked the one with the Revrends Daughter Jessica.

Some of the Halloween episodes have been pretty good as well.

Wow where do I begin?

One of them has to be "Cape Feare" because the Simpsons join the witness protection program and have their name changed to "The Thompsons" (my last name)

Ones where Homer gets hurt are always fun. The falling down the Canyon was pretty funny.

One of my many favourites has to be Bart Gets Famous. There are too many good ones for me to pick out a certain favourite though.

Man, I have not seen a new Simpsons episode in 3 years. Frankly the magic is gone and Groening and Co are just going through the motions. With competition from 'The Family Guy, 'American Dad' as well as 'Adult Swim' and other edgeier animated fare, the Simpsons look quaint and dated by comparision. It's time to put a bullet in this dying horse. Why FOX and Goening did not continue on with Futurama is beyond me. Now that was a funny series

As for my favouite episode, I would say their visit to Aussie tops my list.

You can thank FOX for that. Groening had already drawn several episodes for the 5th season, but for some right until this day undisclosed reason FOX decided to not go ahead with more seasons of their then-most popular animated series. I still hate the FOX execs for that .

Isn't htis the last season for The Simpsons? I remember reading something about it ending in the newspaper some time ago, but now I can't remember if it was this season, next season, or even last season.

I cant remember the title but its when Bart was kidnapped by sideshow bob on the wright brothers flyer .. That was hilarious. I think they crashlanded if I remember right. and the one where Homer is kidnapped somewhere in south america and he phones Mr. burns for ransom money so he could get freed. Here I think the K'nappers was funny.. Correct me if this is wrong, but I recall them getting pink money at the end ?

Yeah, that was the Brazilian episode. One of the funniest comments was from the kidnappers "You know, our money looks so gay!" or words to that effect.
