Its Friday night what are you doing

Ok its Friday night I'm watching the water from the floods rise closer to my house, Already five homes on my street have been flooded. I have no hot water because my basement is flooded and my Oil Burner has been overtaken. So what am I doing? I'm on my fourth glass of wine watching some jackass stall his car out trying to drive through 3 feet of water that is covering my street. Ok time for another glass, hell nothing else to do tonight.

Just got in from a BBQ, was going to hit up Downtown to see some puntang, be decided against it because I'm going away tomorrow (just an hours drive inland to visit friends). We are going to party hard tomorrow, so I just decided to wait it out. Other than that I'm just doing some pre-bed surfing and posting in threads like this one because they are here....

wow did that freakin suck. I'm an usher at the hockey arena on campus and the sioux had a game tonight. I got stuck driving a god damn elevator for the whole game....from about 6pm till 10:15 I was in that damn thing. Well minus the two 15 minute breaks. Man, I need to graduate so I can get a real job

oh, you think the general public can handle a total of 7 buttons?

Actually the elevator also goes to the ice level where the locker rooms are, and to the luxury suites, so I have to make sure people who dont belong in those places dont go in there. Either way it freakin sucks.

For future reference, next time you could suggest taping over the regular floors and leaving the ice level and luxury suite buttons exposed. That should work miracles because people always want to press unauthorized buttons

Same here. I've got a large hill on the left side of the house and one going down and to the right in front of the house. But this stupid sump pump we have is 25 years old (literally...it really is!) and my mom needs to go buy a new one...I gotta go kick the hose to make it flush otherwise there's a flood in the cellar tomorrow morning...speaking of which...let me go do that right now. I'm making her get a new one Sunday at Home Depot for $100 or so.
