Don't you love animals like that? I was taking a close up of my cat, and he licked the lense..Not as bad as a bird peck though. :P

Im suprised the cats tounge didnt scratch the lens. Those little criters have a tounge as rough as sandpaper

I agree, although as i said the bird wasnt the easiest subject to shoot. It was about 15cm away when i took the shot, i was more worried about it pecking my L lense than me p*ssing around with the F-stop
