I've learned my lesson, never insult anyone unless it is constructive, stay out of petty arguments, and refrain from making disparaging comments revealing your own immaturity and reflected your insult back on your self. If some other people learned this they wouldn't be suspened/banned.

He started an entire thread whining about how the quality of the forums had *supposedly* gone down, and blamed the entire thing on any of the new members, specifically, former A.net members.

These forums are expanding so fast and there are so many new users that do not care about what has happened here in the past and say anything they feel like.

Another post proving the overall concensus of a handfull of kids that have posted here just abit before some of the newer users who now beleive they "own" the forum and that new users=bad.

Get over it already. If you want a forum with only 5 poeple posting who you know really well, go somewhere else.

Growth is a good thing, and in my opinion, the overall quality of the forums has gone UP with the new posters. Must I go and pull up the heated name calling and total mayhem of the Iraq/War/Bush threads that used to exist on these forums? This forum used to SUCK. Now its getting fun and interesting.

You have to make a choice now, either quit whining and join the fun by trying to get to know the newer posters and respecting them, or leave.

Simple as that.

Oh yeah, I would hardly call Cory's ban the result of an influx of new users...the people whom he argued with, MikeD, Katamarino, and to some extent myself, are longtime forum members, we have actually been here longer than him....
