Yes, but welfare for that matter would refer to the immigrants expecting to find jobs and better living conditions in France. In fact, we live in a capitalistic world where everybody should look for themselves and not expect others to provide perfect conditions for everybody.

Just my two cents, please don't get sensitive on me.

Yeah, but I also think people (not talking about you) shouldn't have the attitude - "Oh, you're an immigrant, we can treat you like crap, and if you don't like being treated like crap, go back to where you came from."
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

-- The LA Times, in a review of 'Flightplan'

I wouldn't call the desire for equal treatment (for basic things such as finding a job) "expecting welfare".

          Some facts
          - Parents who don't care, they sc*w and line-up for the benefits !!!
          - Quite a few rioters are illegals
          - Some are minors, sometimes barely over 10 !!!
          - The Africans who tend to getho themselves, for one, some are f**en polygamists who have 3/4 wives, 20/30 kids living in a three-room flat for instance. The residents usually sleep by shifts , in fact they do everything by shifts.
          - Forty per cent of them are unable to speak decently with a Caucasian
          - The youngsters' references often are the US ganstas in terms of songs, way of dressing and so on. Like their US counterparts and inspirators, they only think of Rap, getting money as easely as possible and punch whites
Should we would have some guts, french citizenship would be revocked ....
          List goes on

Being that none of us are actually in France (at least I don't think), we shouldn't be giving them advice on what to do with their country. But I'm just 15, what the hell do I know?

What do the marriage "customs" (it's probably not true) have to do with this situation?
So what if they can't speak with a white person. Then don't talk to them.
What does music and clothes have to do with this too? I listen to hip hop, so does that mean that I'm the kind of person that runs around the streets of Paris lighting shit on fire?
Phillip, I agree with pretty much everything you have said on this topic.

The marriage custom written here ARE TRUE, unlike some, I take the time to check before writing, and don't forget, I also used to live in Africa.
Now what it has to do : it goes to overcrowded flats which just simply are not designed to shelter an oversized family, so let repeat, living goes on by shifts
              - shift number one : at bed
              - shift number two and three : loafing around in the stair lobbies outside the parents' attention
You listen to hip-hop, but probably to some polished one, probably not the one lyriced and sung by 50 cents and other avowed ganstas.

The reason why the rioting broke out was that some french minister discribed the immigrants as garbage and similar nice words. Of course burning cars is not the right way to solve their problems but honestly, the goverment would not even listen to them if they tackled the problem in a civilised way.
Let's write ; They don't go to school, and when they do, they don't listen to the teachers
Unlike what you think, the government does TOO MUCH by keeping up an overstaffed National Education Minister running too many schools which would logically call for closure by becoming so unuseful.
The current government is just getting the legacy of 25 years of b*llsh*tting
among others, family regrouping allowed by Mitterand in 1981 should have never occured.
The current minister for homeland security is RIGHT, simply because he states things plainly and outrightly : aka : a cat is a cat, two and two makes four ...

First of all, it's 50 CENT.
People seem to automatically say that any music where they can't understand the words is promoting violence or something like that.
Oh, and on the school subject, inner city schools, atleast in the US, are a f%$king joke.

Whichever the spelling, this leads to a Curtis + Something according to his real name. And no need to understand the lyrics when ones comes reading he once harvested 9 bullets !!! Curtis is also famous for barbing some fellow "performers" when on stage.

We all know why he chose that moniker: that's about the maximum amount anyone would pay to buy his CDs (or that new "movie")
