        They've NEVER heard of research

They should join JP and ask what a/c they're dealing with every time they write an article, because THIS is getting funny

One has to love the media. Obviously, a 747 and a 737-200 are veeeerrrryyy hard to tell apart .
          ps: 104 people including crew = 100% loadfactor .

You bet ... On the other hand, JP would be so successful that customers would be turn away due to their overpopulation.

I remember when a Beech Dutches(I spelled it wrong huh?) crashed near KCCR, the news said "Witness report a large t-tailed aircraft, probably an MD-80, making strange prop noises as it apporached Concord's Buchannan airport."

Ok, I don't know where to begin with how wrong that is. KCCR is a GA airport by the way, although it did have AirCal Bae 146 service in the 80s.

                    i checked the wires.

this came through the Associated Press wires, which originated from a press release directly from.............Bradley Airport.

The movies/tv shows always get it wrong too. I saw this one movie (i cant remember which one) where the main characters took off in a Concorde, landed in a B742, and taxied to the gate in another type of plane. Another time, I was watching Walker, Texas Ranger reruns (don't ask why... okay, I want to be a Texas Ranger don't make fun of me just kidding) These drug smugglers were getting ready to make their escape in a small GA plane (I don't remember what eaxctly it was), and Walker jumped in the plane, wrestled the guy out and pushed the throttle all the way in, to stop the plane

When the Air France A340 overshot 24L at YYZ, initial radio news reports referred to it as a "jumbo" aircraft.

"Jumbo," as you know, means anything larger than a Beech!
