    I went to the Veteran's Day parade in downtown Fayetteville today...it was a great show, lots of veterans in vintage cars, high school marching bands, high school JROTC units and plenty of soldiers from both Fort Bragg and Pope AFB.

    Oh, and of course there was the USAF C-130 that buzzed the parade route twice at about 500 feet before making a steep climbing bank to the right...

    All in all it was a great show. Its a shame my camera wasn't working properly, even with a P&S I am pretty sure that I could have pulled off a decent shot of that C-130....no zoom required!

        Canada has 5 WWI vets and I believe Australia has none now.

            Holy crap that's unusual. Can you go into a little more detail with that? Would'ive it been awkward when both grandfathers were in the same room? What was your grandfather's role in the Luftwaffe exactly?

            None of my relations went to battle really. They grew vegetables or something like that so they had to stay and feed the mom's and children I guess.
