  • Sure and Rexona deodarnts - why the same packaging?

The two produtcs use the identical logo fonts etc. for the deo's except for the font type used for 'Sure' and 'Rexona' titles, why are they doing this? and whats with the tacky Rexona name? it sounds like some cheap brand from South Asia.

It's probably just a genric brand. It's not uncommon here to see brands that look identical, and usually are identical beyond just the looks. Chances are it's made by the people that make the brand name. Some companies will buy product from a manufacturer in very large quantities and resell it witht heir own branding. It's even cheaper if the manufacturer can slap the stickers on before it leaves the factory.

Rexona is a Unilever product. The name might be tacky, but the product is far from it.

Well it sounds very much like some cheap brand from India or Pakistan or even the far East, infact I used to think its form one of these markets.

Generic products being sold in differnet packaging I understand, but to have the identical image of another company is odd.
