I did! .. I ate my holiday meal at a local buffet with and elder member of the community. The place was filled with seniors who smelled like they'd just come over from the nursing home!
        hahaha

For another Thanksgiving question, were you happy with the outcome of the NFL games today? The game between the Lions and the Falcons wasn't very exciting and went about the way I expected it to go. The game between the Cowboys and Broncos was much more exciting since it remained close throughout the game.

I think the Lions lost to the Eskimos last Sunday. It will be the Eskimos vs the Alouettes in the Grey Cup.

Hear, hear . Actually, over here we also got our own thanksgiving snow (first of the year). Admittedly, it is already Friday, but it was still Thanksgiving in most of the US when it started .

Speaking of the white thanksgiving, the weather sucked. Already at around 10am, the sky was dark, and dull, it felt like 5 pm in the afternoon, Its one of those days where you'de rather stayed home in bed.

So did everybody enjoy their turkey and emu?
Oh Yes indeed we did. The food was delicious. yum yum yummy.
The emu was more than "fine". very tasty too but not really something i want to eat next time. Lol

We didn't have a white Thanksgiving here at MSP, but we are having a white day after Thanksgiving, with snow falling today. Thanksgiving Day we had temepratures in the teens with a strong north wind to really bring down the wind chills.

I have learned to like the strong north winds here since the new Runway 17/35 opened at MSP, especially since the planes fly right over my place while on approach to 35.

Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving! Denmark doesn't really have any thanksgiving, but I had some chickenwings just to have a mockup thanksgiving meal (hey, it's poultry after all )

You celebrate thanksgiving, John? Suppose you're out of the country then?

Chickenwings!? Janni, you know that's typical male "football food" right?

Well, just to get you a little jealous here, I had the whole schpeel - Turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, Yams, Corn, Mac and Cheese, Apple Pie...shall i go on?
