For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, it's the movie about the life of Johnny Cash. If you guys haven't seen it, I highly recommend going and watching it. The music in the movie, as expected, is fantastic, and the movie itself is one of the few great movies out there - this one really has some substance and doesn't come across as "just another movie".
I loved every bit of it.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."
Yeah, its a great movie. I thought is was really similar to the movie Ray in alot of ways...
Ray charles and Jonny cash:
- they both grew up in the south
- they both grew up in the country
- they both grew up poor
- they both had a brother that died in their childhood because of accidents
- they both got into drugs because of their band giving it to them
- they both got into relationships with women who were singing with their band when their wife was at home
- they both died during the making of their own movies
By the way, I'd recomend seeing this movie to somebody even if they didn't like Jonny Cash or even if they didn't know much about him
