I'm just asking... fun to know how many jp.net members smoke. The poll is anonymouse. After seeing those kids from gr. 9 smoking marijuana in front of my school... I mean it's just sad how they ruin their lifes. Post your opinions about smoking marijuana.

I have, it's not something I'd have gone out of my way for. I don't think I've had any in a good 10 years or more now. I can't even be bothered with alcohol often these days, gettin' old!

I havent tried Mary janes yet, and never will anyway.

"Hash" is something I have tried it a few times, but that was like 5-6 years ago or so. I quit that and stucked with booze instead. No Im kidding. lol..

I only drink a "couple" of beers at weekends..that's it basically.

But im pretty sure and aware of that I wont smoke that shit again.

I don't think people should be 'ashamed' should they choose to use it.

I personally don't see much difference between it and alocohol. Either one can "ruin" a life in a number of ways, like so many other things.

Most people who take it will probably not experience any severe side effects. However there are people who have a predisposition to psychosis, and marijuana may just be the trigger.

You are taking a big gamble with your life for negligible gain.

I think this thread trivialises for the younger readers the serious side of taking drugs.

I tried marijuana while in Amsterdam back in 2001 but it wasn't my thing. I don't smoke so I had a hell of a time inhaling. The only drug I regularly use anymore is alcohol. I even quit caffeine.

I see no reason for the plant to be illegal though. It grows naturally on God's green earth. I see nothing immoral about making yourself silly with it.

Even if marijuana isn't bad for you, you'd still be smoking bleached paper (unless you used a bong)
