  • What a milestone

Just passed 150000 miles on my car tonight as I was coming home from rehearsal. Stopped and got a shot. Don't see it but once. My youth minister put most of the miles on here, about 142000 of them before we bought it. Pretty neat, though.

My previous Jetta got to 497,000k and then I bought the one I have now (2002 model). I was trying to make the 1/2 million but the new car arrived. It will pass 200,000 this week on one of my trips to work.

Isn't it a milion and a half? My dad's car has only over 160000

American(I dont know about Canadian and European) cars odometers go to the tenths of a mile, so it is 150000.0

Same in Canada..Numbers all black, except the decimal which is white.

I've been hoping for that too, but it seems the odometer in my car (and other GM cars I've read) rolls over at 399,999. So I'll just have to try and get it to roll over to 0 again.

Oh, well, in my dad's car it doesn't show the decimal cose it is in km not miles.

My car (Audi 100) is at around 287.000km so far and it does show decimals .

Hope that I get it past the 500.000...

Only at 13.000 on my Opel so far, but then again, it was leased brand-new last year with only 7 km on it. Could be 20.000 if it was the only car I was using .

                          I'm sorry... made a mistake

There is 106000 not 160000 on my dad's car display.

Guess it's depending on what model/make. Mine is KM and has the decimal. No big deal either way I'd say..

My old (1987) Land Rover has just over 500.000 K on the clock. It's now stored however, because of STUPID, STUPID, STUPID tax rules here in Holland. My road tax raised by a staggering 560 %, 6 months ago...
