    Compared with the tractor/trucks in Hong Kong, they are at least a metre or 2 higher. Perhaps North America trucks are taller though... not sure

      Yes, Hong Kong is double-decker capital in the world!!! Most abundant and most luxurious buses I've seen by far!!!

      Yes, those buses are at least 2m high, it'd too tall for most N.A. routes. It wouldn't go under most clearance (overpasses, power lines, tunnels,...). Clearance in HKG are much higher!

      I'd love to see them here as well, but they'd be severely violated by countless graffitis, gums, spilled drinks, etc., plus the general poor maintenance of public transit we have here.

        In the US most truck trailers are 13.5 feet (4.11 meters). There are double decker coaches in production in Europe and elsewhere that are under this height, however some double deckers like the traditional London buses are taller than this. For inter-city coaches in Europe, the legal height limit is 4 meters. For transit buses, you want a little bit more stand-up height in the upper and lower cabins.
