I personally prefer PS2. Made by Sony, a highly respected American company, and great games like Grand Theft Auto. What do you like??

Totally agree, Jeroen - my PC - the best"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Well, Microsoft is USA and produces in Mexico, Sony is Japanese and produces in lots of countries.
Xbox has a processor with a higher clock, but it's not RISC, PS2 processor is RISC, so in power, only the processor, Xbox isnt so superior.
Now it's got better RAM and stuff....that I cant deny.
But what matters after all is the games, and PS2 games are better than Xbox ones (except for Halo and some others).

A PC can blow any video game console into the middle of next year. Sure, a high-end computer will run you a couple of grand (unless you build it yourself), and you can keep modding you PC to run even better. Upgrade a video game console? Not very likely. You put in a 3.06 P4, add about 1 GB of memory, put in one of the newest Nvidia or ATI video cards, and you get a gaming system that runs as smooth as butter.

The XBOX has a 733Mhz P3 processor in it, so basically they're using an chipset that is now been eclipsed, not only by the last of the P3s, but the entire P4 family and most of the Celeron chips. $179.99 is not a bad price for what you get, but for a few hundred more, you can build a gamer rig that puts XBOX to shame. With most console titles either released on PC at the same time as the console versions, or within a few months, you really don't miss much in terms of games. But with the large number of PC-only titles, you are better off getting a PC for gaming.
