Dont do that crap lol. I recommned you go to your local eye doctors and take a full examination. Im a freekin worry wart and overnight I got worried about my eyes and so I went to have a test done (im a pilot so i cant be color blind lol) and I took the full test and passed with flying colors. I got myself worked up over nothing haha.

What are you talking about,"that crap"? The Ishihara test is an internationally accepted test for colorblindness. Not to mention that you can be a pilot even if you are colorblind.
The 14 CFR Part 67 regulations, revised on September 16, 1996, state that a pilot must have "the ability to perceive those colors necessary for the safe performance of airman duties" for all medical certification classes.
        Next time do some research

Im pretty sure you cant be color blind and fly.... you need to be able to see Red, Blue, White, Green..ect... colors that represent specific markings on an airport and on an aircraft. But that "crap" Im talking about probably wont mean jack sh!t if you go to get your 3rd class/ whatever class / medical certificate. They need to perform one on you then and there. Like I said, make an appointment for an eye doctor.

Edit -- meaning you cant go there and say Hey I passed that test, I think I did alright. You do know you're allowed so many wrong...ect...you need to get it done professionally not just decide on your own whether you are or are not. So with that said, I've done my research. Thank's chief.

            Mmkay.
            According to FAR Part 67.203-
            (C) Ability to percieve those colors nessecary for common operation of airman duties.
That goes for both your Second and Third Class Medical Certificate.
Oh, and you still think that the Ishihara Test is jacksh!t? Could you please provide a link to another exam? You go to an Optometrist, I guarentee that they will administer the same test. I correct myself.
            Next time, do better research.

I have done so many colour blindness tests in the Air Force. It's a shame they didn't notice I was heading for Glaucoma at the same time!!!

                  Ah well.

And you two stop bickering. It's bloody Christmas - you WILL be nice!

I dunno... I think I'd rather have a pilot that could distinguish the diffrence between the Red/green (or are they blue?) marker lights. And as for the test, maybe if you can't see the numbers on your monitor, it might be a good indication to go see a professional. If you can see them, well, it's just less to worry about I guess....
