Has anyone taken the train from Oslo to Bergen? I am planning this excursion for summer and would be interested in any resources that you might have, web sites, reviews, etc.
I took it around Easter 2002, when central southern Norway was covered in snow. I don't have resources about the trip, but I do have very fond memories of the journey. It was the most impressive railroad line I have travelled on so far, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Seems some other people would agree: http://www.nsb.no/internet/en/News/a...rticleID=33203
The train certainly takes its time, but the scenery is so definitely worth it you'll hardly notice you've been travelling that long once you arrive. Don't change your plans!

Thanks!
You can always try the following resources in English
If you find any resources in Norwegian, let me know and I'll be happy to translate them for you (just send me a private message). Norway is a great country, but be aware that only Hollywood girls require more money on a daily basis.
