Well, thought I would go ahead and start the first one for this year. As I type this, there is sleet and freezing rain (yay) falling outside. More wintry mix tomorrow and on Sunday as well. If precip is light enough, there should be a number of diversions since DFW's expecting another icing event, lol.
At MSP, it's fricken' cold, 11 below with a wind chill of -33. Not supposed to really warm up anytime soon either.

Overcast at 38F. 50% chance of freezing rain tonight and 20% tomorrow and Sunday. After that it's just rain. Nice change compared to yesterday's unseasonable 80F.

This weekend is supposed to be bad here. 100% chance of wintry mix (freezing rain/sleet) tonight and 70% chance of it tomorrow with it going down to 20% - 40% on Sunday and Monday. Hopefully it'll all be gone by Tuesday with the temps in the 40s and the sun out.

After the warmest January on record at MSP, I guess we can't complain about a few days of this cold winter weather. It looks like MSP will be back into the warmer temepratures by Monday.

Today (this morning) it was -17 Celsius and -27 Celsius with the windchill......we're paying now for having such a mild winter so far! lol
