I personally heard more about the World Cup than the oLympicsAnyway, the organization was poor and we lack big international stars, there are no dream teams or superstars the way we had ten years ago, there's no Michael Johnson, Sergey Bubka, Carl Lewis, Bjorn Daehlie, Eric Hayden (ok, that's more than 10 years ago). And, in addition, there is controversy, or controversial contestants, like Tonya Harding. The Austrians simply don't compare to her (at least not until we see their wedding video on the internet!)
