What a day 
My final exam is 2moz so today at training we had a bit of a relaxed day to take the ptresure off and went for a tour around the airport
so 90 day Pass is done, picture is awful but meh... into departures and being shown all the ticks and toes to it We got to a FR gate and watched an aircraft push back, we stayed for the next arrival but it turned out there was an aircraft change and the new aircraft was parked up on a remote stand next to the runway. My trainer knows my passion so arranged for me to go along with the dispatcher and watch the boarding and pushback from the stand, WOW!
So we drove along in the dispatch car across the taxi ways and got to EI-DCS. The PAX were still being loaded onto coaches so I was invited up to the cockpit for a little while... like wow! so had a chat with the pilots, they showed me the FMC and so on.. After a bit of a chat the captain asked if i had a full pass yet. I said nah not yet.. his responce: "ah thats a shame, if it was ok with your manager and you had finished your shift you could have come with us..."
so wait, your an FR pilot offering me a totaly free flight in the jumpseat? Yes.. Its not a problem! but as i have not got my full pass yet i could not go... so its going to be arranged in a few weeks how cool!
We left the aircraft and yet another suprize awated! "you want to go in the tug for pushback?" Oh my god am i dreaming? No i aint So in i get and and enjoy the ride... let me tell you what a experience!
So off she goes to SNN and time for me to go home...
so thats the end of that day! no wait. leave the terminal to see a nice merc in the drop off zone in flames... We was all evacuated back in to the terminal building as the smoke was to thick... well thats it, then got on a coach home.... and the best part? Im getting paid for that
