      But really... that still doesn't give them the right to do what they're doing... a muslim guy said they were doing this because they're tired of being percieved as terrorists and violent b*stards all the time... yeah right- then, this is definitely going to change people's perception of them...

          They are shot by some tiny plastic balls, it hurts but no injuries. Police got to where armoured gear for this too...

                While I won't comment on whether they are correct to strike and riot you have to hand it to the French for protesting what they feel is an unfair law. Here in North America we tend to sit back and watch while our "elected" politicians ride roughshode over us. Then we re-elect them! And what do we do about it? Bitch over the garden fence with our neighbours. We don't do a thing about it.

                The French are airing their grievances and supporting each other.
