Elvis at his prime was early 1958 just before he went into the Army, and before his mother died. I will grant you he lost a LOT of weight and got himself into shape, bodily and voice wise, for the 1968 special, but it was all sadly and pathetically downhill, musically, health and relationship wise from there. All that money, all that talent, sad, sad , sad. I guess the up side is his heirs have done very well, as have Marilyn Monroe's, another case that make ya wanna cry. I hope they are entertaining together in heaven, because God knows life on earth for them was HELL!
