Throw in a white flag, used once, and I might consider it.

Over the past few centuries France has been invaded many times (and they did some invading too). France has lost many thousands of troops and civilians. They probably feel war isn't always necessary. When was the last time the U.S.A had foreign troops on its land? During the War of 1812 with Canada (British colonies then). Canadians remember the battles along the St Lawrence and the Great Lakes. Remember we came down with a few natives and burned Washington including the Presidents house. Now you know why it is white!

Every country has an opinion, just like every person. If we all agreed all the time it would be DisneyWorld.

Sorry, I do not have anything like that. All the white flags I have collected from France are very worn, they appear to have been used many times.

          Do we have a deal?

Curious why everyone bags on France.

I personally have no problem with them. So what if they didn't want to take part in the last war. We gave them an invitation, and they polietly declined.

Some said that France was supplying arms to Iraq. True that the Roland SAM system is French made, is possessed by Iraq, and was a threat to our aircraft (bagged an A-10). But there were also HAWK SAM systems that we, the US, supplied to the Iraqis (as well as numerous ground weapons/vehicles, like the M-113 APC) that they were using against us too.

So, for anyone wanting to bag on the French, take a look in our country's mirror first.

Hold up Mr. D... I never said I had anything against the French people, and I think there's a little more to it than "Hello France, it's the US and we're going to war.. Would you like to join?"

"No thanks, but thank you for asking Mr. Bush."

It's just as bad as it's old.

At least, the French don't make up reasons for wars... Tonkin incident..... Iraqi WMDs.........

Wrong! It was during World War II, when the Japanese briefly captured two islands of the Alaskan archipelago.

Why don't you take your hated for the United States back to the kiddie forum or did you come here just to try and turn this site into another Airliners.net?

Old? I don't think so. But hey, at least the US can stand up for it's self!

Go back to A.net with all the other hypocritical anti-American 12 year olds.
