  • Happy Father's Day! Still sober?

Well, today is Father's Day, aka "Day on which 95% of all men worldwide are totally drunk". Which begs the question, as to how you guys spend this day so far, and whether you will still be able to remember this day tomorrow . Personally, I had the joy of participating in a bowling tournament, and even managed to win something, namely a nice large bottle of Smirnoff vodka plus 2 vodka glasses. Needless to say, I'm currently enjoying this prize. So, who else is feasting on booze today ?

My first thought: Damn, that's today?

Americans/people who haven't celebrated it yet: what are you getting your dad?

Because I'm a broke high school kid going to college in summer, my dad will probably get a hug, a 'thanks for spending all your money on me' card, and an IOU for Manhattan Condo with a Mercedes.

But Fathers Day is more or less just "Male Celebration Day" over here . Which means lots of booze being consumed by men, and women on this day are told to STFU .

we need a special day to celebrate having common sense, driving skills, and being emotionally stable?

Of course, we got it as part of the deal back in the liberating 60/70s when feminists demanded a Women's day . Plus, 1 dedicated day in the year without any women moaning and whining and bitching, read: total silence, isn't that bad of an idea .

actually, technically you could have 2 days. If you fly to Europe for theirs, and then back here in June.
