Hey guys. I'm working on a new version of my personal website right now. But I think I need your help.
I want it to be as professional as possible. I mean I want it to be both elegant, clear, user-friendly, and rich in info. I put some stuffthere but I want to ask you - those who have their own sites, and those who don't, what else should I add there ?
I attach a shot of a home page so feel free to comment it. I'll include "about me" where I'll put stuff about me; "Gallery" I think this is clear; "portfolio" where I'll put shots of my art work; "File library" where i'll put my small rpograms i've created and other usufull stuff and contact. What do you think i should add to it or change ?

    Here's the shot:

btw. i'll ad some pics on the front page and calendar as well.

One more question. Looks like I forgot some HTM codesL...
Nway anybody knows what is the code that makes the word change color after you put mouse cursor on it ?? Tried internet but no luck or nothing that satisfies me.
    Thanx for your help guys.

Yeap the menu on the left. I want it to change color from black to dark grey. It's linking to other sub-sites.

These commands come right after the Also... place them all together inside the same command along with any background commands. Something like this:

        < BODY BGCOLOR="###.###" TEXT="###.###" LINK="###.###" VLINK="###.###">

Please note: When you write these codes, you can write them with a # sign in front of the hex code or not. It used to be that that was required, but not any more. I still use it just because I started that way. You may want to just go with the six-digit code. Also make sure to place a space between each command and be sure to enclose it in quotation marks.

@ Patrick. Do you know your colour codes ? If so, locate them, replace the x's between these " " like this..

          I'm sorry, but that's hideous.

Greyscale can and does look elegant in many forms, although not in your design. Your photos will be color, so your site should have some. I get my inspiration from my sites from all around the web. Try searching www.monstertemplate.com, www.coolhomepages.com, etc...

Find what you like and take certain areas from others.

          Here is my site...

          Here's a site I am re-designing...
