  • What do you guys think about car tuning ???

Are for or against it ??
I am a real fan of tuning and night racing. I've never been to any but my friend has. If you have a tuned car post pics. My friend has a Mitsubishi Eclipse (gotta pst pics later).
Also if you are for it, what's you favourite part of car racing (drag, drift etc.)
Mine is drift as it's quite safe and looks cool (lotsa burning rubber).

Btw. did you hear that there is going to be 2fast 2furious: Tokyo Drift ??? can't wait

    About the film
From the producer of the worldwide blockbuster hits The Fast and The Furious and its sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, comes the latest installment of the adrenaline-inducing series built on speed—The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift . Set in the sexy and colorful underground world of Japanese drift racing, the newest and fastest customized rides go head-to-head on some of the most perilous courses in the world.

Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) is an outsider who attempts to define himself as a hot-headed, underdog street racer. Although racing provides a temporary escape from an unhappy home and the superficial world around him, it has also made Sean unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Sean is sent to live with his gruff, estranged father, a career military-man stationed in Tokyo.

Now officially a gaijin (outsider), Sean feels even more shut out in a land of foreign customs and codes of honor. But it doesn’t take long for him to find some action when a fellow American buddy, Twinkie (Bow Wow), introduces him to the underground world of drift racing. Sean’s simple drag racing gets replaced by a rubber-burning, automotive art form—with an exhilarating balance of speeding and gliding through a heart-stopping course of hairpin turns and switchbacks.

On his first time out drifting, Sean unknowingly takes on D.K., the “Drift King,” a local champ with ties to the Japanese crime machine Yakuza. Sean’s loss comes at a high price tag when he’s forced to work off the debt under the thumb of ex-pat, Han (Sung Kang). Han soon welcomes Sean into this family of misfits and introduces him to the real principles of drifting. But when Sean falls for D.K.’s girlfriend, Neela (newcomer Nathalie Kelley), an explosive series of events is set into motion, climaxing with an ultimate high stakes face off.

The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift is directed by Justin Lin (Better Luck Tomorrow, Annapolis) and written by Chris Morgan (Cellular), Kario Salem (The Score) and Alfredo Botello. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz (xXx, S.W.A.T.) and executive produced by Clayton Townsend (The Skeleton Key, The 40 Year-Old Virgin).
My favourite is the Nissan Skyline GTR R-34 stock model. ...Guess what's my favourite in the Need For Speed Underground...

      Nice movie (the second one)
i saw the trailer in the cinema. The drift in the garage is awesome. My favourite car for tuning is Nissan 350Z. My neighbour (which I don't know too well) has a tuned Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII (i guess). But I never talked to him about it...

I like the tuning of fine cars...like VW, BMW, Merc. and Audi. This rice rocket shit drives me nuts. I really like a sleeper in a suped up car. All these show boat cars are just rubbish buckets in my mind.

I haven't quite got a real tuned car just yet, although I love playing Need For Speed (Underground 2 incase you were wondering) now and again on my brother's PS2.

Here's my first and most tuned car so far, the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8. I've managed to hit 225mph in this beast thanks to a slight boost of NOS

Here's my most recent car which is still being modified, the Subaru Impreza WRX w/ STI Prodrive Pack. The Impreza (mainly the P1 version) has always been my favourite car since I was a kid. I always use manual gears when driving this baby and turn the volume right up, the sound of that flat four engine purring and the dump valve when changing gear is awesome

          Yeah... I know I'm sad

          Cheers,

          Dale

If its just drag racing on the track, I dont mind it. However I have a vandetta towards all idiots that race in the streets. So far I have known 2 people killed because they were racing in the street. And most cars look pathetic anyways .

Well my friend who was grade 12 last year killed himself becasue of street racing. He was going 150 km/h on a small street and didn't make it on a turn. His car blew up....RIP
But I love the look of their cars

Hell yeah I like tuned cars. But since I don't have the money to pimp cars in real life, I stick to pimping them in NFSU2 and NFSMW, preferrably the Porsche Carrera GT and the Hummer H2 .
