It's not exactly the same, but I use Magix webradio, which has a few thousand stations worldwide, and allows you to record the songs you listen to, in that you start your recorder, record 2 hours or more of music, and then slice it up into seperate songs. It's a b!tch to learn the exact timing, but once you learn it, you can "record" your "own" MP3s of the radio, and the quality is certainly not worse than other MP3s.
