So, I'm sitting here at work, possibly on one of the last days that this company exists. It looks like 2 years, after we discovered that our previous co-owner had screwed our company out of €150,000 , our struggle to financial survival is about to end.
2 years, in which me, my father, who owns the company, and my mother have done everything to make up the loss we encountered at the hands of another person, including using our own money to pay bills.
2 years, in which we tried to sue the guy who screwed, but with a process that ended because the person declared "Personal Insolvancy", so no chance of getting that money back.
2 years, in which tried our outmost to gain new customers, and repay all our bills.
2 years, in which we cut all side costs, like reducing electricity consumption by €40.
2 years, in which we have been screwed by customers, suppliers, and gas companies.
2 year struggling, and now the end appears to be near.
Now, the latest that we took was the news that we can't provide supply to schools anymore, as the powers that be, read, the school authority, had an unpublicized competition to provide the supply, and since we neither knew about that nor would we have been willing to bribe the authority, we have now lost a total of 17 customers.
It looks like this will be the final neck breaker. So now, I will soon be on the street without a job, and only a very slim chance to ever get a good job, with my merci relying on whether social securities will be paying me any money at all.
You know, I normally don't bother to talk about stuff like this on a forum, but I just had to talk about it. Needless to say, I'm currently in a mental state somewhere between depression, suicide, and homicide on the guy who caused us all these problems.
I wish I could say that I'm positive that something good will happen, but honestly, I have given up. These past 2 years have clearly shown that you have to be a criminal to survive in our modern-day economy. Quite frankly, that p!sses me off big time, but I can't do anything about it.
Anyway, I don't know what will happen, when it will happen, or how it will happen, but I know this: It will happen soon, and things will get really ugly.
Until then, it's just killing time until the inevitable happens...
