Firefox sucks.

At least for me right now anyway. It keeps crashing almost non stop. It's getting unbearable. (Don't say anything about my harddrive, you know who you are). I installed the newest version of adblock the other day, could that be the problem?

Useless free garbage. I used it for about two months, then downloaded IE 7 beta, and I've like ie7 more since then. FF just didn't run nice on my computer (blah blah FF more secure than IE...blah blah, don't give two shnitz)...I don't know what its retarded problem was but it pissed me off.

Once I was downloadng a huge file (around 1GB) [no not porn] and when it was about 80% done famn FF crashed.....happens to me quite often

Not to hijack your thread or anything Jordan, but while we're on the subject - Since installing FireFox (going back a few months now) I can't seem to open Limewire successfully. When I try and open it, it doesn't load up properly so I then close the program and my whole computer freezes completely meaning I have to re-boot

I've ran several scans for viruses and spyware since then to see if that was the problem and yet it still continues to crash. Could this be anything to do with FF?

I've just gone to using Flock now. It's made by mozilla too I think but it doesn't keep crashing on me.

That's what FlashGot and Download Managers are for.

If you really don't get along with Firefox, try Opera.

I know but it looks like I forgot about it I use FlashGet. i like FF but sometimes it pisses me off

You guys are just unlucky. I run both Firefox and Limewire on my machine without any problems. And that's on a machine I put together for $550.

Firefox is good, but sometimes it does freeze my computer. I tried IE 7 and runs nicely and for me, faster than FF, but had to uninstall it beacuse of virus problems and now i can't install it again
