  • My Road Trip Through The Snow (pics)

The biggest snow falls in 14 years happened a week or so ago in the area I live in (South Island of New Zealand). So I thought I'd drive out of the city (ended up being about 9 hours of driving in just one day! ) to check it out. I was very lucky with the weather.

I had to listen very carefully for cars in this photo lol

Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand was the first person to climb Mount Everest. The following is a picture of Mount Cook (NZ's highest peak at 3754m/12315ft). Hillary practiced on this peak pretty much before having a stab at Everest. Also I took a photo of his statue.

Nice dusting of snow ya'll got. If they cancelled school for that, well that would be sad, we could have a foot of snow and it was -60F this past winter in Grand Forks, and yep we still had school.

              No.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Its a shame that GFK doesn't actually get any snow, at least not by Upstate NY standards..

I wish I could see the pics, but I blocked flurl.com and threw away the password as the naughty side of that site was becoming a big waste of time for me...
