I got a question cx777, why do you have both the 737NG and the A320 in your fleet?

737NGs are used mainly on domestic routes and are configured to all economy..
A32Xs are used on medium range regional flights(which cannot fill the A333) are configurd in a two class layout..

Well why not go all A320 or al 737 and have either one of them configured to all Y and then some to Y & J? It would be more economical and make sense.

Actually, no, None of the US Big-6 or any others that I know of operate both at the same time. Why? Cuase its dumb and un-economical. Its redundant. Doesnt make sense, you want to see high operating costs? Operate both at the same time. If an airline does operate both at the same time, it wont be long before one of them is gone.

Other than EasyJet and some charter airlines, please show me an airline that operates both the 737NG and A320 family of aircraft.

B737NGs carry more people for less weight and lesser range than the A319.. A319 on the other hand carries less people and more weight for greater range..

I dont need that kind of range if im operating within the islands of RP..
