Well, that was it, not the best way to finish a last race, but still, all the way from 21 up to 4th...I will miss that actions...

Hi Guys - I guess most of you are to young to have watched the "Monza Gorilla" at the wheel of the various F1 cars he raced. Some of his antics made Schumi look like a novice. And can you remember the Brands Hatch incident with "Sideways" Scheckter at the Race of Champions. Yes, I'm talking about F1 back in the '70's and the "plot" is the same, just the drivers have different names. is Schumi "the greatest" - in this era, the answer has to be "yes" - the results prove it. Is he the "greatest ever" - we will discuss this forever. Can you compare Schumi to Jackie Stewart or Nikki Lauder - I don't believe one can In the same light, can you compare Nikki to Fangio, and for the same reason, I don't believe you can. F1's during the 70's were far more difficult to drive than the F1's of today - likewise F1's of the 50's were more difficult to drive than those of the 70's era.

Grands Prix of the 70's cannot compare to the races we see today. Back in the 70's there was no fuel/tyre stops, no telemetry, no radio communication and technology did know carbon fibre. It would be fun to see who you guys think were the "greatest" by decade.

        My list:

        50's - Fangio
        60's - Jimmy Clark
70's - Jackie Stewart and Nikki Lauder
        80's - Prost
        90's - Senna
        00's - Schumi

I really can't say I'll miss him. To be honest it'll be good to have some straight racing back!

          Cheers,

How come the brittish always see the almost non-existing negative part...O wait, the totally fair winning of the championship in 1994 offcourse...Guess that's just a Handicap you have to live with...

With Schumi gone, I guess, there will be far less cheating or rules bending in F1 now ....
