  • Something different than aviation photography?

Yesterday evening we had a view to a thunderstorm not very far away from us. So, I grabbed the camera and tried a few long time exposures.

Good to have this "JP Photo-Albums", so ... what do you think?

    30 sec exposure: http://www.jetphotos.net/palbum/viewphoto.php?id=441
    90 sec exposure: http://www.jetphotos.net/palbum/viewphoto.php?id=440

BTW, pretty different than aviation photography: just start the exposure and wait to see what happens. Wouldn't work for av photo, I guess

    Cheers

    Those shots looks amazing Gerardo...

The 30 sec shot looks more dramatic than the 90 sec shot.

Offtopic: Something for the JP IT gurus, is there a way to make a thumbnail for shots from the palbum like the way we do with the jet photos ???

Good stuff Gerardo. I have a few good lightning pictures that I took while in Shanghai, but it was through a dirty window so they didn't come out as crisp. Good work

          very cool photos.

I always wanted to get shots like that when there's a thunder storm, but in NJ the storms are never really that big, and they only last for a couple of minutes.

Well to be honest I just pinched the html from the album. As far as I know the facility to do photoid=xxxx does not exsist yet but maybe one for the programming team in time.
