[QUOTE=matth]Same difference, don't get worked up over it.

I did not say you can't take the whole lane. I did say you don't drive to the end and pull out without so much as a glance behind your shoulder, which is what seems to happen even when there is very little traffic.

I hope this was clear enough for you../QUOTE]

You pretty much implied that it was something wrong...

Not to mention the fact that you told me a while ago that it is wrong that drivers do that.

Well, whatever. I was merely giving my opinion on this. If it is seen as becoming worked up, well, so be it. I'll withdraw myself from this topic.

    I like BMW's a lot. I was in agreement.

Who cares if you have airbags or not. It's your life on the line, and I'm not too worried. I'm sure Kevin is a good driver.

    Kevin, wear your seatbelt though.

And, DAL767...no need to get all worked up. Some people can't afford new cars with airbags.

Car with or without airbags will be practically destroyed if it runs into a moose. So dont pull this "oh well airbags will save you in a deer-car collision", because drving skills do help.

If you dont drive cars with no airbags and crumple zones based on safety, your missing out on a lot of awesome cars. I will tell you that right now. When it comes down to it, its the driver, not the car in terms of safety.

Car with no airbags, i don't think that there is a significant difference between a car with airbags and without with a slight percentage on being on the safe side for the car with airbags.. Are airbags really going to do much when you hit somthing at 60-90mph? They are definatly there for a reason, but hitting somthing at those speeds would rip apart the car.

Even more reason not to drive it.

Yeah - we recently shopped for a second car, and that was one of the things we looked for before making a choice. Front and side curtain airbags (I think)
