I remember when I didn't drive...everytime I needed a piece of photo ID, the person asking would look at me like I had just fell out of a tree when I said I didn't drive.. Who needs to drive when you're living smack in the middle of a giant city?! Everything you need is a few minutes away by foot.

Well I just received the bazillionth weird look and comment when I had to explain why I'm learning to fly airplanes but don't drive. It's just SO irritating. That and I was feeling kinda of random

Hit the nail right on the head! It just seems senseless how many people are injuried or killed on the road becuase Joe B. Stupid can't stop yammering away on the cellular, picking his nose, and sipping his mocha latte and pay attention to the damn road. Driving doesn't have to be so dangerous; look at flying, its potentially very dangerous, but training and extensive regulation keep it one of the safest forms of transportation around. That's why I fly and don't drive.
