  • NEWS: Eiffel Tower Caught on Fire!

The Eiffel Tower is on fire. From what I have seen, the fire is on the top observation deck. Tourists scrambled out of the fire, which appears to be contained in the top portion of the tower. Oddly enough, when my friends and I visited the tower a month back, we wondered what would happen if a fire was on top...

About as hilarious as, oo, i dont know, i fire in the World Trade Centre perhaps...?
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Two different things Jess. Nobody got hurt here. Thousands of people died in the world trade center. That was a terrorist attack this wasn't.

My point was - would you all have a good giggle if the statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, or some other great American icon burned down? Ok, i admit, i'd laugh if Mount Rushmore burned down, that would be impressive!

True. A huge number af Airbus aircraft have crashed from these shoddy electrical faults, and you cant buy a Renault or Citroen without it sparking and giving up in seconds. And look at the Eiffel tower itself. Built with their shoddy engineering, it'll fall down in no time i'm sure!

Kaddyuk, you ever watched FIA World Rally Championship? The French cars are the best cars in the sport. The engineering on a rally car is extremely complex. The French are as good of engineers as most Western countries.
