  • Billy's Dancing Dad

Billy was at school this morning and the teacher asked all the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came fireman, policeman, salesman, chippy, captain of industry etc, but Billy was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father.

My father is an exotic dancer in a gay club and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes if the offer is really good, he'll go out with a man, rent a cheap hotel room and let him sleep with him."

The teacher quickly set the other children some work and took little Billy aside to ask him if that was really true. "No" said Billy, "He plays cricket for England but I was just too embarrassed to say."

I didn't feel like being mean to all the Brits so I was laughing to myself, but I think they know by now that they do infact suck, so haha.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Outside of the Brits, Kiwi's, Aussies, Indians and ourselves, not to many JP Forum players even UNDERSTAND the game, let alone the finer points of the game - it's far to complex for the uneducated - let's see what reaction this statement brings................. (Apologies to the balance of the test playing nations not singled out here, but I do not know of any JP Forum members residing in Pak, Sri, Bang or Zim ????)

A few Canadians do (but then I have lots of friends in Australia). Cricket is played in Toronto and the India/Pakistan games are played here.

          It is a good game.

There is an Aussie Rules football league here too.
