  • *lesson Learned* Don't let siblings borrow your car!!! :(

Well, just getting a chance to post this now, no pictures yet, but i let my sister take the other Jetta since her car broke down. As i was in school in class i get a call from my mom that she got into an accident, i was thinking it was just minor and put it off as just being a little bump in the bumper of somthing. But then i ask her what happened, turns out she didn't see the red traffic light and did not even stop and went right into a back (T bone) of a ford focus, don't know if the car is totalled or not, will find out tommorow and will take pics, the airbags did go off, and there was some buckling present as the passenger door was making noise when opened, as i heard.

So people who do have siblings out there, please don't let them borrow/ drive your car haha.

And for the people who are going to post "how could she not see the light?".....it was a new place for her (new directions to a doctors appointment) Still not an excuse not to see a red light but meh...

Accidents an accident thats why thier called that.

Make sure she buys you a new one. Sounds like one of those freaky Jetta commercials come true.

glad she's ok, but I kinda have to chuckle. You show your cars off so much and this happens.

The second I read the title, I knew what happened. Just hope that you can still drive it!

I lent my car to my brother once and found it at school sideways in the parking spot.

You don't have to be Paki to never trust women with cars... I thought it was common sense to not trust them?

Well got some pictures after freezing my ass off in the cold waiting for them to let me into the impound lot...

*WARNING* Not for the Jetta lovers like me althought the damage isn't that bad, but i would rather them total it...then to get it fixed won't be the same anymore.

Certainly looks repairable. Needs some plastic parts, a right light, and a new grill, which shouldn't be too costly.

It's German for crying out loud. It will be expensive. I've had 2 Jetta's and nothing is cheap to repair.
